Geophysics Laboratory

The Geophysics Laboratory is located on the 2nd floor of the Basic Physics Lab Building. The Geophysics Laboratory is a vital facility in the study of earth science that focuses on understanding the structure, composition, and behavior of our planet. The benefits that can be taken by students with activities in this lab include (1) providing practical experience, namely linking theory with practice, (2) developing technical skills in data collection, analysis, and modeling, which are highly sought after in the geophysical industry and related fields, (3) making a small but meaningful contribution to the understanding of the planet.
