The Department of Physics Education, FMIPA UNY has two undergraduate study programs (S1 Physics Education and S1 Physics) and one master study program (S2 Physics Education). In December 2021, the three study programs which initially had A accreditation have now received Superior accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN PT). This brings a breath of fresh air to the academic community of the UNY Physics Department.

This ranking cannot be separated from the enthusiasm and hard work of lecturers, teaching staff, staff and students in carrying out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education obligations carried out by the academic community of the UNY Physics Department. Hopefully, Education and Teaching, Research and Development, and Community Service activities will continue to develop and have a broad impact on advancing the quality of institutions.
