Research Orientation on The Topic of Signal and Instrumentation by Prof. Dr. Heru Kuswanto, M.Sc.

As time goes by, research is carried out to develop science and technology that facilitates human activities. Research on the topic of Signals and Instrumentation contributes to developing the science and technology. The need for measuring instruments, sensors, signal processing techniques, and instrumentation is very necessary in the industrial world. Realizing the importance of this need, the Physics Study Program, Department of Physics Education, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Yogyakarta State University has contributed to developing science and technology by establishing a Signals and Instrumentation research group whose members are Prof. Dr. Heru Kuswanto, M.Sc., Sumarna, M.Sc., Dr. Supardi, M.Sc., Agus Purwanto, M.Sc., Nur Kadarisman, M.Sc., Dyah Kurniawati Agustika, M.Sc., and Riza Ariyani Nur Khasanah, S.Pd., M.Sc., Ph. D. On Wednesday, 6 September 2023, Prof. Dr. Heru Kuswanto, M.Sc. guide students taking the Physics Research Methods course, class E regarding the topic of signal and instrumentation research. Signal and instrumentation research topics include the fields of electronics, systems and signals, sensors, instrumentation, and control systems. With this research topic orientation, it is hoped that many students will join the Signals and Instrumentation research group.
