In order to support IKU and improve the implementation of Tridharma PT, the Physics Department of FMIPA UNY carries out community partnership capacity building activities (PKKM) involving all study programs at FMIPA with communities in the DI Yogyakarta area.

PKKM was held online via Zoom Meeting on Saturday, December 11 2021. This activity presented four presenters. The Physics Education Study Program raised the main topic "Development of Interactive Physics Learning Media" which was presented by two presenters, namely Mrs. Erawati, S.Sc., M.Pd. from Taruna Nusantara High School and Mr. Fendy Novafianto, M.Pd. from SMK Bhakti Nusantara Boja. Meanwhile, the Physics Study Program raised the main topic "Development of Online Physics Practicum Media" which was presented by Mrs. Elisabeth Pratidhina Founda, S.Pd., M.S. from Widya Mandala Catholic University and Mr. Riki PErdana, M.Pd from Alma Ata University.

In addition, the entire series of events was guided and moderated by Mr. Bayu Setiaji, M.Pd. and Mrs. Irvany Novita P. M.Pd., lecturer in Physics Education. It is hoped that this activity can increase the quantity and quality of partnerships with local communities based on community needs, improve the quality of FMIPA lecturers' activities for community development, and accelerate UNY's FMIPA vision in order to participate in educating and improving community welfare.
