Prof. Dr. Edi Istiyono, M.Si., one of the lecturers in the Department of Physics Education, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Yogyakarta State University (UNY) shared his knowledge in the Written Test Question Writing Workshop at the Department of Health Nutrition, FK-KMK, Gadjah Mada University (UGM) which was organized by the Department of Health Nutrition, Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing. This activity is a capacity building for lecturers in creating Written Test Questions. The event was held on Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 8:00 to 17:00 at the Artotel Kaliurang Hotel. The workshop presented a single resource person, Professor of Measurement, Assessment, & Evaluation of Student Learning Outcomes from the Department of Physics Education, FMIPA, Yogyakarta State University, Prof. Dr. Edi Istiyono, M.Si. The creation of written test questions is of course adjusted to the current curriculum, namely the independent curriculum, so that the quality of education provided by lecturers is expected to be better. The workshop was opened by the Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Susetyawati, DCM, M.Kes. The workshop was attended by all department heads, department secretaries, study program coordinators, and lecturers. Prof. Edi delivered material on the development of test questions and their analysis including the role of class assessment, assessment instruments in the form of tests and non-tests, test design procedures, and examples of test items, as well as scoring guidelines.
