Four PKM Teams of the Department Of Physics Education, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) Achieved Achievements In the Competition of PKM AMLI 2023
The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), received a visit from the Nuclear Energy Supervisory Agency (Bapeten) on Friday, November 3, 2023. The event began with a presentation by Bapeten regarding opportunities for utilizing facilities at Bapeten and increasing research collaboration between FMIPA UNY and Bapeten. Several lecturers from the Department of Physics Education also attended the event, especially lecturers who are members of the Nuclear Physics Research Group, including Dr. Eng. Rida Siti Nur'aini Mahmudah, M.Si., Dr.
The Internal Quality Audit (AMI) visitation activity for the Undergraduate Physics Study Program was held on Friday, October 6 2023, at 09.00-11.00 WIB in the Physics Education Department Room, FMIPA Floor 3. This activity was attended by several lecturers from the Physics Education Department, including: Dr. Supardi, M.S.i. The Friendship Forum (Fossil) 2023 event was held by the Physics Student Association, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (HIMA Physics, Faculty of Natural Sciences (FMIPA), UNY) on Friday, September 29, 2023 at 09.20-11.20 WIB. Fossil 2023 was implemented in a hybrid manner, namely by combining online forums with offline forums. The online Fossil 2023 activities were carried out via Zoom meeting and attended by 26 students, while seven lecturers and 48 students participated in the offline Fossil 2023 activities.
A total of 2 students from the Faculty of Science Technology and Agriculture, Yala Rajabhat University (YRU), Thailand took part in the credit transfer program at the Department of Physics Education, Faculty of Mathematics and Science, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY). The two students were welcomed at the Department of Physics Education on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, by Prof. Dr. Heru Kuswanto, M.Sc. as chairman of the Department of Physics Education, Dr. Supardi as Coordinator of Physics Study Program, Dr. Kuncoro as Coordinator of Physics Education Study Program, Dr.
The food security crisis is a problem that must be overcome currently due to population growth in Indonesia which continues to increase. One way to overcome the food security crisis is to increase productivity in the agricultural sector. In this case, farmers in rural areas are the main producers of staple foods, such as rice, corn, beans, vegetables, and others.
As time goes by, research is carried out to develop science and technology that facilitates human activities. Research on the topic of Signals and Instrumentation contributes to developing the science and technology. The need for measuring instruments, sensors, signal processing techniques, and instrumentation is very necessary in the industrial world.
The Department of Physics Education, FMIPA UNY, has been further strengthened by completing doctoral education (S3) from one of the lecturers and undergraduate education from one of the advanced physics laboratories staff. One of the lecturers who completed his doctoral education (S3) is Dr. Drs. Yusman Wiyatmo, M.Si.). Dr. Drs. Yusman Wiyatmo, M.Si, is a lecturer in the Physics Education Study Program and a KBK of Media and Physics Learning Resources member. Dr. Yusman became the best doctoral program graduate with the title Summa Cumlaude.
Dr. Mona Sari, S.Pd.,M.Sc. and Riza Ariyani Nur Khasanah, S.Pd., M.Sc. Ph.D. are new lecturers at PTNBH Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) in the first batch that was approved on 1 September 2023. They joined the Department of Physics Education, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) with the formation of the Physics Education Study Program (Mona) and the Physics Study Program, concentrating on Electronics and Instrumentation (Riza).
Five students from the Physics Study Program of the Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) follow in the Student Exchange Program (PMM) in the Physics Study Program, Department of Physics, UNY, for one semester FY 2023/2024. The five students include Muhammad Rizal Fajar (ID 01211002), Rahmatia Khumaera (ID 01211003), Nabbila Salsa Ramadhani (ID 01221010), Tiara Riski Atmayanti (ID 01221001), and Grahtia Derlius Patampang (ID 01221002). These five students took courses (MK) Digital Systems, Quantum Physics, Statistical Physics, etc.
