Visit of the Nuclear Energy Supervisory Agency (Bapeten) to the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY)

The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), received a visit from the Nuclear Energy Supervisory Agency (Bapeten) on Friday, November 3, 2023. The event began with a presentation by Bapeten regarding opportunities for utilizing facilities at Bapeten and increasing research collaboration between FMIPA UNY and Bapeten. Several lecturers from the Department of Physics Education also attended the event, especially lecturers who are members of the Nuclear Physics Research Group, including Dr. Eng. FORUM SILATURAHMI (FOSIL) 2023:"EDUCATION PROSPERITY DIALOGUE: UNITED FOR CHANGE”

The Friendship Forum (Fossil) 2023 event was held by the Physics Student Association, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (HIMA Physics, Faculty of Natural Sciences (FMIPA), UNY) on Friday, September 29, 2023 at 09.20-11.20 WIB. Fossil 2023 was implemented in a hybrid manner, namely by combining online forums with offline forums. The online Fossil 2023 activities were carried out via Zoom meeting and attended by 26 students, while seven lecturers and 48 students participated in the offline Fossil 2023 activities.

Graduation of Bachelor of Advanced Physics Laboratory Staff (Haris Murtanto, S.Tr.T.) and Doctoral Graduation of Lecturer (Dr. Drs. Yusman Wiyatmo, M.Sc.) in Department of Physics Education, FMIPA UNY

The Department of Physics Education, FMIPA UNY, has been further strengthened by completing doctoral education (S3) from one of the lecturers and undergraduate education from one of the advanced physics laboratories staff. One of the lecturers who completed his doctoral education (S3) is Dr. Drs. Yusman Wiyatmo, M.Si.). Dr. Drs. Yusman Wiyatmo, M.Si, is a lecturer in the Physics Education Study Program and a KBK of Media and Physics Learning Resources member. Dr. Yusman became the best doctoral program graduate with the title Summa Cumlaude.

Welcome Dr. Mona Sari and Riza Ariyani Nur Khasanah, Ph.D. in the Department of Physics Education, FMIPA, UNY

Dr. Mona Sari, S.Pd.,M.Sc. and Riza Ariyani Nur Khasanah, S.Pd., M.Sc. Ph.D. are new lecturers at PTNBH Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) in the first batch that was approved on 1 September 2023. They joined the Department of Physics Education, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) with the formation of the Physics Education Study Program (Mona) and the Physics Study Program, concentrating on Electronics and Instrumentation (Riza).

Five students from the Physics Study Program of the Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) follow in the Student Exchange Program (PMM) in the Physics Study Program, Department of Physics, UNY, for one semester FY 2023/2024. The five students include Muhammad Rizal Fajar (ID 01211002), Rahmatia Khumaera (ID 01211003), Nabbila Salsa Ramadhani (ID 01221010), Tiara Riski Atmayanti (ID 01221001), and Grahtia Derlius Patampang (ID 01221002). These five students took courses (MK) Digital Systems, Quantum Physics, Statistical Physics, etc.
