Sharing Experience with Physics Graduates 2011

Sharing experiences in achieving hopes and aspirations with one of the best graduates of the Physics Study Program class of 2011, Januar Widagdo was held on Thursday, February 16 2023 in Meeting Room II, 2nd floor, FMIPA UNY. Physics Education Study Program Students Win 3 Medals at the Indonesia International Applied Science Project Olympiad

Congratulations, two physics teams under the guidance of Mr. Wipsar Sunu Brams Dwandaru, Ph. D. won 3 medals in the 2022 Indonesia International Applied Science Project Olympiad which was held offline at the Actuarial Department, ITS Surabaya. This international level event will be held on 14-17 December 2022 and will be attended by 634 teams from 17 countries in the world. With each gain, they are:

Off-Campus Lecturer Activities - Yogyakarta Mulia Foundation Consortium

Apart from carrying out their duties on campus, lecturers also have a big responsibility to disseminate knowledge through a series of lecturer activities outside campus. One of the activities of lecturers at the FMIPA UNY physics study program is providing assistance to teachers in schools regarding the use of simulation learning media to prepare for the implementation of the independent curriculum in schools.

Guest Lecture - Threats, Vulnerabilities, Disasters and Disaster Mitigation

Monday 12 December 2022, the Physics Study Program held a Public Lecture with Alumni on the topic "Threats, Vulnerabilities, Disasters and Disaster Mitigation". This public lecture is aimed at students who take part in the Geophysics skills group, but not only that, other general students also have the opportunity to take part in this public lecture. In this public lecture, the material was delivered by alumni of the physics education study program, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Farid, M.S who is a professor in geophysics at Bengkulu University.

Physics Students Achieve 2nd Winner in Selection of The Most Outstanding Students at Faculty Level

Congratulations on the election of Bian Itsna Ashfa Al Ashfiya as the 2nd Winner of the most outstanding student at FMIPA UNY 2022.

This 2019 Physics Education Department student managed to become Second Rank in the Selection of Outstanding Students (Pilmapres) at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences UNY in 2022. PILMAPRES is an annual event for students who have good academic scores, achievements in various fields accompanied by organizational activities both in the scope of internal and external campus and good English language skills.

PPM Lecturer Activities for Yogyakarta Special Region Vocational School Teachers

One of the obligations of lecturers in the Tridharma of Higher Education is to carry out PPM in order to disseminate science and technology to the wider community. As has been implemented by several Physics Study Program lecturers including, Dr. Supardi, Prof. Heru Kuswanto, Nur Kadariswa, M.Si, Agus Purwanto, M.Sc, Sumarna, M.Eng, Pinaka Elka Swastika, M.Sc and assisted by several students held Arduino microcontroller training for vocational school teachers in Yogyakarta on 14 September 2021 via zoom meetings.
